"God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord." 1 Corinthians 1:9
Many people in our life are unfaithful. We tend to put much trust into friends and family. We put much trust into Pastors and teachers. We put trust into things we, rightfully, believe won't lead us astray. Pastors and teachers are positioned to give you accuracy in what they speak about, they MUST NOT lead whom they are teaching astray. Friends and family are suppose to be there to support you and they are not suppose to allow anything to get in-between you and them.
Yet, we live in a world with fatherless homes and orphans. We live in a world of wars with people who has claimed to love you and care for you. We live in a world where many Pastor's and preachers will let you down and not be there for you when they are suppose to be. People don't always do what they are suppose to do. We fail, we are actually designed to fail so that we can invent, and lean on what will help us to succeed. Without the failures of the world, we would not have the success we need to grow and expand. But God does not fail. He has promised to never leave you or forsake you. "And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed." Deuteronomy 31:8
The most important fellowship is with the Lord. When we are spending time with Christ we do not need to fear that we will be taught wrong or pastored wrong. We do not need to fear that He will turn against us, we do not need to fear being fatherless or orphaned. He never changes, and He will never move away from you. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." If it feels that God has moved, you don't have to guess who it was that actually moved. God is faithful to stay and He is faithful to love you even when you don't love Him. And we can build our friendships and pastoring, and leadership on that idle, knowing He stays, we must follow His steps.
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39
